Very disappointed. When I asked, 30 days ago, if we would receive the new version of JPLAY without paying anything, you answered me positively. Now I discovered that I need to pay €49,00. Unfortunately it is difficult to find something as good as, so the solution will be to pay the price. Downloading the test version to check it out. I hope it brings a big gain.

Do I have to uninstall old JPlay first?

Questions: I've just begun to enjoy a 3PC setup. I guess JPLAY Classic still applies, but how about JPLAY FEMTO? Can I just dismiss the 3rd PC? My apology if you've already answered in the embedded docs, as I haven't dwnloaded yet.
Without even getting to the download, many thanks for giving us a breakthrough software once again.

I'm in! Just purchased JPLAY Femto and have received my product key by email. Just one question on this ... I run a dual PC setup. Can JPLAY be installed on both Control PC and Audio PC using the product key that has been emailed to me?
Thanks in anticipation of your prompt response Marcin,
@FelipeRolim ... Perhaps there will be a free upgrade for JPLAY Classic. JPLAY Femto is an upgrade so I guess it's legitimate to ask for a new purchase. I'm sure that Marcin will clarify this
Update: Just tried to download JPLAY Femto. Norotn Internet Security flasgs it up as not safe. Not a problem. Will disable protection to download.

Now I understand. Thanks Marcin.
Some questions: 1) my audio-PC doesn't have an internet connection. Because of it, I'm seeing a message that says that my licence is expired. Should I connect this computer to the internet? 2) I'm using a dual-PC setup, but the instalation of JPLAY Femto in the audio-PC keeps asking the location of the musics. However, in this computer, I don't have any music. How may I proceed?
I just bought the Femto JPLAY too. It means that MinimServer isn't needed anymore?

Exciting news.
I just invested in a new second PC with JCat NIC etc.
I didn’t read anything about 2 PC Setup and it’s benefit in your JPLAY FEMTO announcement.
1) Could you confirm, that JPLAY FEMTO works in an existing 2 PC setup with the same improvements comparing to a 1 PC setup.
2) When I use JPLAY 7: does the discontinuation of JPLAY Server has any impact (beside there is no further development) or can I still use JPLAY 7 with the JPLAY Streamer from JPLAY 6.2
Many thanks for your answers
Ben

Yes, one key is valid for 2 PCs.
Norton warning is false-positive error. I need to contact them again to whitelist the files. It's safe, no worries!
Now I understand. Thanks Marcin.

1) You have to connect to internet just for the activation process and then you can disconnect. You will have to connect again in 180 days for re-verification.
2) Just enter any folder. Doesn't have to have any music files
Correct, MinimServer isn't needed, but you can still use it if you wish, although it will not sound as good

1) Yes, JPLAY FEMTO works in dual PC setup too with the same improvements, although I have to admin that single PC sounds extremely good now...
2) You can't use JPLAY Streamer with JPLAY 7.0. JPLAYStreamer was discontinued.
How to get key for 21 day trial? It shows LICENSE EXPIRED.
You don't need a key for 21 day trial. It activates automatically. Please make sure you have internet connection and that you rebooted after installation.

The 'free' version still incorporates jplay streamer to use with minimserver?
edit: You beat me to it.. So, there is effectively no upgrade unless you pay for it.

No. JPLAYStreamer is discontinued. JPLAY Classic consists of JPLAY Driver and JPLAYmini as explained in the first post.

Hello JPLAY team please advise
I use JPLAY mini and JPLAY streamer on ControlPC to link my Audio PC, is the new JPLAY FEMTO compatible with Fidelizer and Audiophile Optimizer on server 2016 in core mode?
With the new JPLAY FEMTO setup, JPLAY streamer is gone, does the Control PC becomes the server and the Audio PC comes the network renderer with USB attached DAC?
Thanks I will try the new configuration JPLAY FEMTO and compare the new configuration not using PLAY streamer.
Thanks

Hi,
as I'm using Roon on my Roonserver PC under fedora 28, I suppose i don't need Jplay Femto on my Roonbridge Endpoint PC.
Is there an interest for me to upgrade to FEMTO or should i stay with JPlay Classic?

Yes, JPLAY FEMTO is compatible with these apps, it works completely independent.
Correct: Control PC is music server with JPLAY femtoServer and JPLAY FEMTO renderer, Audio PC is USB Audio Endpoint. In fact you can disable JPLAYfemto service on Audio PC.
