Hi,

When playing a stream from Qobuz the track (not all) stop in the middle and the next song will start.

On the tablet with Jplay IOS the song is still there and keeps playing onscreen.

I have a single PC setup with Server 2019, USB and Net XE cards and hibernate not active.

In IOS I have disabled gapless.

Also many tracks will end 10 ore more seconds before ending.

Everything from the SSD library works perfect

Rob

Hi Rob-

I was having this problem as well. Going to the Audio Output of my end point, I unchecked Gapless (as you did) and have the update time set at 10. All other boxwes are unchecked.

So far, so good.

Hi John,

I'm going to try that settings and come back with the result.

I tryd it for some time but it still stops in the middle of a recording.

Hybernate off

Gaples off

Update time 10

No luck with these settings.

Is it possible that the buffer settings play a role?

This must be related to DAC Link parameters in JPLAY Settings panel

JPLAY for iOS: the new reference hi-fi app.

JCAT: streaming specific products for high-end audio

I did try the most DAC link settings and now listen to 1 because it sounds best.

But I also used 1000 and it has the same problem.

It's random so very difficult to find the fault.

I've also had problems with jplay and Qobuz in the last few weeks. I assumed there was a bug with Qobuz. Ultimately, there was an outage with my fiber optic provider that customers did not inform. Your problem may be similar. Since a restart after troubleshooting, things have been running smoothly.

I'm currently having problems again with dropouts on fiber optics and would like to ask what settings you have made in jplay. Both my fiber optic modem and the FritzBox 7590 AX have been checked. They're fine. Now I'm trying to improve the situation using the settings in jplay (UpdateTime function, gapless playback etc.)... so far without success. Did anybody also have problems with fiber optics and if there was a solution, what was it? I stream to an Aavik S-180, which is connected to the FritzBox via an Ansuz switch. Thanks a lot. Rainer

P.S.: I only listen to albums, not only one single track. So maybe it's a problem of buffering, when I start with the option "play"
