JPLAY Femto + AO3 + MC/LE installed by HungryBear’s script is offering a fleshed out, effortless, vigorous SQ, bringing out the current best sounding music of my modest setup hands down. Thank you guys.
I concur wholeheartedly Thuan. My even more modest system is sounding really good at present. I suspect that this is attributable to the benefits brought about by Oryaa's latest versions of MC/LE and HungryBear's v9 script. Thanks to you both!
I installed MC263/LE27 this morning and am burning in at the moment. Thanks for the update Oryaa.

MC266+LE30 is easily the best I've ever heard in my setup. High frequencies feel much softer now, which makes much difference when you turn a volume knob, some instruments feel like playing in the middle of the stage instead of being retracted to background, bass is cleaner and bigger, can be actually seismic deep now, the whole picture seems to be straighten up from being crumpled. But what's really good, somehow this also helps music play more immediately to the soul, passing through any brain work.

MC266+LE30 sounds really good to me in my system.
Posted 17 January 2022 - 02:52 PM
I must agree with fellow forum members: MCC266+LE30 delivers the best sound quality I have ever experienced in my system. It is hard to stop listening to music. I am also left wondering whether my digital front end has now surpassed my analogue front end (and for a fraction of the investment!).
I have also rechecked the JPlayService, JPlayFemto, MC and LE settings in Process Lasso I recommended some time ago (and ably captured in the pdf Set-up Guide in BernieK signature). I can confirme that those recommended settings still make a positive difference. However, I suggest that people try and change PL's Priority setting for MC/LE from "Real Time" to "Above Normal". The latter sounds even better in my system
I must thank HungryBear for his V9 script and for stressing therein Oryaa's recommedation of "Above Normal" Priority.
Lastly, a HUGE thank you to Oryaa for his endless pursue of perfection in digital sound reproduction. You have gifted us with a new level of connection to the music we love.

I guess that some of us might not be aware of the differences
About time to spell it out again, why don't we try something that's actually showing us those commas?
https://calculatorso.../math/basic.php
Click 1 9 1 9 ×
(Absolutely no spaces at all.)
Click 4 1 4 1 ×
(Absolutely no spaces at all.)
We're getting 7,946,579 as intended
Click 5 5 5 5 =
(Absolutely no spaces at all.)
Finally here's the correct answer with the right commas
I really hope that makes sense now, we're using commas ONLY and therefore NO dots at all.

259 sounds significantly deeper, more open and more euphonic than 258. And I mean SIGNIFICANTLY.
After all the years of doing this hobby I thought nothing can really suprise me anymore.
But when I start MC259, I get goosebumps like I got when I first tried high end headhpones. It was like 20 years ago.
Holy fk. 259 is pure euphoria. How is that even possible. I can't believe what I'm hearing.
If you can try just one version of MC, 259 is the one.

Hello all. Since new year music on new hardware ( new PC, new DAC R2R ) and new OS Win11 Home.
Started experimenting with MC.
Since version 258, today I tested 268/31.
Installed both with script and SEXE.
Summary:
As HungryBear described the sound of version 259, that's how I hear it.
And version 259 is my choice. Running as a Windows service using SEXE. Priority " Real time".
Can someone answer question pls Is rewriting data a must for better quality if i use computer for streaming only and dont have music stored in the hard drive?
Congrats on the new toys. Would you share how you've tuned the new BIOS and OS?Hello all. Since new year music on new hardware ( new PC, new DAC R2R ) and new OS Win11 Home.
Started experimenting with MC.
Since version 258, today I tested 268/31.

And version 259 is my choice. Running as a Windows service using SEXE. Priority " Real time".
Although I stream almost exclusively, I'd like to ReWrite JPLAY and MC/LE folders once (before MC/LE installation or before JPLAY starting). I like the subtle improvement but don't think it's a must. Can someone answer question pls Is rewriting data a must for better quality if i use computer for streaming only and dont have music stored in the hard drive?
