Hi

 

I see in the quick start guide that the JCAT XE Evo card features both an EMI filtered and unfiltered output.

 

I was wondering which one people prefer, or is recommended to use?

 

I have a DAC that doesn’t need 5V from the source so will the filtered output be of any benefit to me? Is the Data output filtered? Does it matter if the 5v jumpers are removed for the filtering effect?
