Yesterday I received a specially made JCAT RJ45 cable for I²S connection, and I have to say they are also very good at that ;-) Same impression as JCAT USB cable and JCAT SATA Cable: they sound very natural, sweet, details and deliver lot of emotion

I find a LAN hookup provides a better sound than USB, even with the JCAT card, Kora LPS and TotalDac cable.

What is the difference between the regular and reference LAN cables?  I use ethernet for a run from router to PS Audio Directstream dac.  Anyone have experience with both?

see "http://jplay.eu/forum/jplay/ethernet-cables/?value=1613&type=8&include=1&search=8&ret=all"

cable category then connector improves noise reduction. I use cat7 generic. Its a cost benefit ratio decision.

Thanks, but doesn't really answer my question, as I'm already testing Audioquest Vodka, Blue Jeans and Meicord.
