Hi everybody!

I'd like very much JPLAY on my iOS devices and Mac computers.

I would like to ask Marcin and the programmers for a kindness.
Can you integrate the possibility of inserting radio streaming links?

All the best.

L.

Dear Marcin!
Are you planning to set up a music recommender like roon radio? Or if it already exists, where can it be accessed?
Hi,
István

Dear Marcin,

After setting up stations on Live Radio (iso app)  I keep getting error "An error occurred while sending the action to the renderer. Please check renderer's playback options in settings."  Turned on safe transition mode and still gets error. All other options are turned off.  Does this from my iphone 14 and airpad 2.  Is there a remedy?

Best regards,

Michael

Never mind Marcin,

I was trying to use the urls on safari.  I had to go to PC to find the correct ones. Duh!  Works fine now. Thanks for the upgrade.

Regards,

Michael

Hi All,

I need technical help, please.

I use Double PC playback with JPLAy. My problem is that the radio
stream does not start on HI-FI, only on IPhone.
What and where should I set it?

thx

What is the format of the stream? (audio format, bit-depth and sample rate)

It could be that the format is not supported by JPLAY on Windows or your USB DAC.

The problem is very intresting. The radio plays on my phone, but not on the hifi system. Music stored on my computer plays on the hifi system, but not on my iPhone. e.g. radio swiss jazz … https://stream.srg-s...rsj/aacp_96.m3u

@Tench

There are several lossy (compressed) formats used in streaming radio: MP3, AAC, Vorbis, Opus, WMA etc and I'm not sure what formats are supported by JPlay, obviously not all. Radio Swiss Jazz streams in very lossy AAC format: variable AAC 93-99 kbps, 48kHz. Why would you use JPlay for such low quality music playback? And on the other hand, in my list at the moment there are 134 radio stations that stream in lossless FLAC format. Some of them stream in real Hi-Res audio. For example visit Mother Earth Radio (https://motherearthradio.de) and you will find 4 different streams in high quality 24bit up to 192kHz music: Jazz, Classical, Instrumental and mix Radio. This is kind of stream that should be played in/with JPlay.

Thanks for the answer. OK then please send me a URL with a high definition radio stream. By the way, I can stream any radio from a Bubble upnp android device, but not from an iOS device (iPhone, Ipad)!!

I don't think this problem has anything to do with the audio format.

This is the error message when playing a radio stream: an error occurred while sending the action

to the renderer. If the issue continues, please check renderers playback options in settings.
