Can a remote control sound????

Yes, yes, YES, I couldn't believe it myself that it was like that. But the recommendation here from Marcin and Josef with Bubble UPNP was of course also chosen, because it costs almost nothing (commerce) and of course you don't want to praise a competitor.

There are really a lot of differences between the respective remote controls. It's not about the fact that an APP for remote control offers many possibilities, such as JRemote on IOS. I started with it in 2012. But then there was a JRemote for Android, much smaller than the mighty JRemote for IOS, which also managed the video department.

That was a clear difference with JRiver, that the Android app sounded much more musical. Really, everything was much quieter and more serene, but still beautiful.....?

Music should be judged by whether it gives feeling or not.
There is no feeling with JRiver, nor with mconnect, and bubble. Well, bubble at least tries, but the others just do their thing.

Bubble sounds very dull without Orrrya, but it's just getting better since the ES32.

Then I had a time when I bought a Linn DS.
But what can I say, it wasn't nearly as good as FEMTO. Everything is SUPER agile, annoying sometimes, on a Linn system, boxes like AMP. They call it that in the tests (Stereoplay like Audio, you have to rock with it, no, that's annoying).

That wasn't right then either. So JPLAY FEMTO DUAL.

But then with 2 supermicro mainboards, Xenon CPU, external power supply for the drives.

Now it started to get musical, but that was different with each remote control. Bubble sounds, without Oryyya, totally mumbly, mconnect totally technical.

But the apps from Linn, it may be that they harmonise better with the Linn hardware, but I don't think so, they made music there.

Unfortunately, only the Linn Kinsky still works with JPLAYFEMTO, and it hasn't been around for a few years.

Of course, I still had it from my Linn ride.

So I'm more than curious to see what Josef & Marcin might come up with for Christmas.

Have a good evening

Also JPLAY FEMTO DUAL.

Yes, I heard about Android 11 and 12 myself from Sammy. But of course we didn't have the same phones, sammy has a Galaxy S10 with Android 12, I have a Xiaomi RedMi Note 8 with Android 11.

But that was a difference. Really!

With the S10, Anny Lennox didn't feel like singing at all.

With the Note 8, with Android 11, it was a dream. I don't need to mention that the recording came from a studio worth millions.

So what sounds different, Android, the hardware, the remote control, or what.....?

I think it could also be the hardware.

I can't imagine that Android 12 sounds so much worse all of a sudden, but I find it more plausible that Samsung only uses cheap parts because they have already reached a standard and sell a lot.

Have a good evening.

PS. The good sammy bought a used RedMi Note 8 for less than €100 on the same day.

Also was klingt anders, Android, die Hardware, die Fernbedienung, oder was.....?

Hi, no, I can actually rule out hardware. Android 10 and 12 sound like Android, more understated, more covered. Android 11 sounds like ipad. That was the impression of 10 on 11 when streaming Youtube on my tv

Android 12 sucks, on Samsung Galaxy S10, Android 11 on RedMi Note 8 is incredible.....
