Nice release! I would like to know read and write speeds. I know somebody will say: you dont need speed for audio reproduction...

I will use it for another purpose than reproduction.

It's fast. I will do some benchmarking and will come back with the exact numbers.

Best regards,

Marcin

Have you evaluated the SSD yourself Marcin ?

Would be interesting to hear what you think of it in comparison with the Apacer SSD

Yes, I tested it last year. I introduce new products only if I like the quality.

The FEMTO SSD is better in almost every aspect, especially if powered by LPS.

Best regards,

Marcin

I Agree,
it's the best HDD I've tried through all these years!
even with out LPS

Can recommend trying a Pcie - M: 2 adapter to be able to run it directly to the CPU
as most of MB M:2 slots are through PCH

Will the SSD still be an option in 2025? I don't see anyone in the DIY forum using the SSD...

I swapped two Apacer SLC extended temperature SATA SSDs for two M.2 NVME FEMTO, powered by JCAT OPTIMO and PLIXIR ELITE BDC, which allowed me to disable the SATA controller in the BIOS. I'm very happy with the change. Carlos

I have ordered the SSD...
First of all, many thanks to Marcin (JCAT) for the fast delivery
As some in the Audiostyle forum claim, the SSD has no influence on the sound. As I have already tried a few things, I disagree.
I have installed the card and it is powered via an LPS (Plixir Statement).
The first few hours with the SSD were difficult - the SQ was significantly worse than with my Optane, but I expected that. From hour 7-8 it plays at the level of the Optane
I will report in 200 hours how the SQ develops ;-)
