Hi.

I'm testing this Audio GD DI-20 Digital Interface Amanero:

https://www.audiopho...hz-p-14191.html

I started test in Single Mode configuration to avoid any doubt, my pc in Single Mode with Topping interface works fine at 1000 hz. I replaced the interface only, exactly same HW except for the interface.

I have tested all driver releases: 1.057, 1.062, 1.067. Result is the same:

good behavior with files 16/44.1

glitches with files 24/96 and 24/192.

Sound is continuous, but is dirty and not clear, there are glitches inside

Funny things are:

1) when I push 'play', sound is clean 5-10 seconds and then glitches appear

2) if I keep listening to the music with glitches, for example till 45 sec and then restart the song, the sound is ok, no glitces at all along 45 sec. After 45 sec glitches appear again.

Any idea to fix the problem?

Hi,

Amanero drivers work best with lower dac link settings between 1 and 40.

Good luck😉

Either, you're Superman, or you can, which took us almost all months, listen to this right now.

JPlay, AO, Fidelizer, MC,+ or only LE?..! SuperMicro, Xeon...! XMOS ist the Favorit.

greetings mkmind

Hi Mkmind,

could you explain me what MC and LE are?

Are you suggesting me to install AO? And-or Fidelizer?

Sorry but I haven't completely understood your replay.

Thanks

Hello pierpulp.

MC and LE are 2 tools to eliminate the jitter on the running PC. Here you can find everything you want to know about it. http://jplay.eu/foru...-minorityclean/ AO is something like Fidelizer, only a bit better. Something for PC audio optimization, mainly for Windows server software.

Unfortunately I don't know why your sound gets worse after a few seconds/minutes.

But it's only worth trying MC/LE or AO if the computer is running decently first!

greetings mkmind

Hi Adrianccm,

I have had an AudioGD DI20 Accusilicon 90/98M Edition as part of my setup for since December 2019.

Setup is:

  • ControlPC and AudioPC in Streacom cases with external LPS. Windows 2019 Server, AudioOptimzer 3.0, JplayFemto, MC288/LE60.
  • AudioPC has JPLAY USB card with Doublehelix USB cable to the AudioGD DI20.
  • AudioGD DI20 (Firmware V4.075)  is connected to AudioGD Master 19 Preamplifier/Headphone Amp via Wireworld Chroma 7 0.5M HDMI Cable as an I2S connection
  • AudioGD Master 19 is connected via ACSS cable to AudioGD Master 7 DAC
  • AudioGD Master 7 DAC is ACSS cable connected to AudioGD Master 10 Amplifier which is connected to Magnepan 3.7R speakers with Black Trillium speaker cables
  • JPlay Femto is controlled via BubbleUPNP on Android phone/tablet.
  • Jplay control panel setting are set for Ultrastream, between 20mhz and 100mhz, throttle ON hibernate ON
  • Plays FLAC files 44.1/16, 44.1/24, 48/24, 88.2/24, 96/24, 176/24 and 192/24 without any blemishes, hissing, ticks pops etc. Top limit of 192/24 is a limitation of my DAC not the DI20

Hope that provides some reassurance, results may vary according to your configuration...

Kind Regards

Frizzup
