If tried 4-5 different Apps and each App sound different (and also musicality is different),

So I’m looking forward to the JPlay App.

Any ideas about release date and price?

Hello Ben , sorry to be so ignorant and perhaps you can help me. i understand this app is a remote : how a remote can influence sound and could you share the names of the apps that sound different in order i can try ?

Thanks

I‘m not an expert - only a user. But as I understand it depends on the protocol (Open Home or UPnP or …).
Than it depends on the traffic via WLAN and maybe some other things I don‘t know.

I prefer Linn Kinsky (isn‘t available anymore) and Linn Kazoo. I also tried
- Linn App
- Fidata
- Lumin
- mconnectLite
All apps on iOS.
Some need BubbleUPnP Server (not BubbleDS on Android) others work directly without any additional tools. Some support Streaming Services like Qobuz others don‘t.

Maybe some experts can add some more information.

Now we‘re all waiting for JPLAY App.

System doesn’t matter - if you have mine.

Thanks Ben, i tested all these apps in the past and did not hear significant difference. You should have a great system to hear such ! The way for improvement is long  :D

Yes let's wait informations on the JPLAY App.

There were differences even if I closed the app after pressing „play“. It‘s also important on which app you press „play“ and not with which app you bring the track in the playlist.
We testet this on different systems (most were Linn systems) and it‘s not only with JPLAY but also with Linn DS.
Some apps were very impressive with the first tones (like fidata) but in the long run I prefer Kinsky and Kazoo.

System doesn’t matter - if you have mine.

I like Kazoo (deprecated) on my windows desktop but the replacement app Kinsky won't work. I can share Kazoo if anyone wants it. But normally I use bubble on my Android tablet.

Yesterday I've tried to open the app, but I can't because it said Beta ended... :( so, back to BubbleUPnP... :(. @Marcin: when are you planning to release it?

Will the iOS app give the user the ability to apply equalization to the sound?
