Hi Marcin,

I've been following Minority Clean and there is potential MC could adopt AVX2 instruction set only in the future. Does the current JPLAY software in single or dual PC use AVX2 instructions?

From the web:

Intel AVX2 was released in 2013, extending vector processing capability across floating-point and integer data domains. This results in higher performance and more efficient data management across a wide range of applications.

IntelĀ® Instruction Set Extensions are additional instructions that can increase performance when the same operations are performed on multiple data objects.

Hi John,

This is not important, because JPLAY does not use memory copying operations.

Thanks Marcin

Minority Clean (MC) improves the condition of the personal computer, including the register state of the CPU, perhaps this is enough that JPLAY benefits, its not direct but an indirect benefit to JPLAY software then. Its certainly beneficial to improved SQ

I would like to find and gain a better understanding as what MC is actually doing, i've not seen it described well if anyone knows I would be grateful to read and learn
