Correct. When network is optimized, the SQ of local files playback or online streaming isn’t affected, only gets better especially with XE cards in place. Given your description, an audio switch between controlPC and UE router would likely help.

Thanks Thuan. I'm going to talk to the Internet provider to see what options they have and if they don't work for me, I'm going to buy an Uptone Etherregen or Edison Extreme or even a JCAT M12. Another idea is that it can be powered with solar DC, how good results are for me is giving.Carlos

Hi Marcin, I use a single PC set up and already have a USB XE card installed. I don’t stream and I use Jriver to play music files stored on my NAS. Just wondering is it still worth adding a NET XE card? Would the NET XE card improve the sound quality further? Appreciate your input. Thanks.

Even if I am not Marcin, I can tell you that the JCAT Net card will improve the listening of your musical files stored on a NAS (I did the experience by myself and was amazed by the results).
In addition, I advise to install minimserver on the single PC and not on the NAS, so you can set advanced settings in process lasso to maximize its use.
