My music PC is shared with my Windows 10 PC, and I have to physically switch to the music SSD, which runs Server 19, AO Core, Jplay Femto, Minority Clean 28.

The PC uses an AMD Athlon 200 GE, which is a modern, low power CPU in the Ryzen range.  By chance, it is the ideal music processor, with integrated graphics and 35w TDP.  So it runs cool and costs around £40.

I have been planning a dedicated music PC for a while and would like to use the same processor again. Any views?   Why does nobody use AMD?

The motherboard is a full size MSI 350 Gaming Pro. Would switching to a small form factor be beneficial?

I could simply follow the many recommendations of the Forum, and fit an intel mobo.  But I am a long term, dedicated AMD fan. And I love the sound of my current setup.
