Hi folks,

i have a little problem to run jplay femto with my dac.

My music machine is a laptop with Microsoft Server 2016 in core mode AO3.0,Fidelizer 8.5.

If i play music with the setting 1000hz the music plays 30 seconds and then stops.

If i run with 700hz all runs smoothly.

So something disturbs but i don`t know what.

I think it is not the driver it´s a glitch with something else can someone help me out?.

thanks in advance

Jürgen

Try playing in hibernate mode. It should be more stable.

What happens if you disable either AO, or Fidelizer?

Or try a different clock. Default is 0.5ms (0). Try 1ms (1), 10ms (2), or 15.6ms (3). Adjust clock parameter in both registry and Fidelizer.

Is your dac driver adjustable for low latency? Mine wasn't, and I had exactly the same situation, until I changed it. (Thanks, Thuan!)

Increasing clock will not help getting 1000Hz DAC link more stable. on the contrary.

Thanks Marcin for correcting me. I’ve realized 0.5ms clock is the lowest latency one which should match 1000Hz DAC Link best. Adjusting driver’s latency and buffer to the lowest as Jeff shared would probably help.

I think i should try without AO and fidelizer and look how it goes

Please let us know how it goes. I doubt if removing AO and Fidelizer would fix it. IMHO, AO and Fidelizer integrate too well with JPLAY Femto that they only help improve JPLAY, not otherwise.
