Good night, everyone

I'm new with JPLAY and Foobar2000. I've been using JRiver excluseveley but I deiced to migrate since is easier to set JPlay with Foobar.

Is there any option to disbale the volume on foobar ?
It seems werid to use JPlay and volume been working in foobar, is that normal ?

The way I'm using JPlay is just selecting JPLAY driver as the output device in foobar.
Is that all ? Or do I need to do something else ? It sounds incredible already.
As well if the Driver from JPLAY is ASIO why in the settings is recommended Kernel streaming it seems like a mismatch there. Sorry if questions are silly.

Any tweak or recommendation I should try ?

Thanks in advance!

Hello and welcome,

If you set volume to 100% in foobar, the volume control is not applied (signal is passed bit-perfect to JPLAY Driver - without loss in resolution)

ASIO in foobar is used only in a way to combine with JPLAY. It does not use USB DAC's ASIO driver.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Regards,
Marcin
