Sound quality, thoughts?
It's difficult to explain because I lack the ability to express it.
It sounds good on my audio system

The first feeling of the es88b resolution speed seems to have been improved a little, the bass is closer and sharper, the voice is more vivid, and it seems to be closer to the singer
The orchestra is more silky
After a few minutes, I felt the overall quiet level reach a new level,The music seemed to burst out of the darkness.
Since the upgrade of es is a kind of halo in style, I once felt that it was perfect enough, so I thought that I did not need to upgrade the power amplifier again, but I was wrong. After listening to the recording of my own equipment alone, I felt perfect, but when I compared the recording of more advanced power amplifier again, I found that their advantages were more fiercely displayed, and there were more extreme aspects that I had not felt before. More enticing to upgrade to kondo/Gryphon Apex..... The current power amplifier is limiting my speaker

Single ES88 local is very pleasant, this is my 'Default settings since its release.
FYI i did compare the last version of ES88 with the 'previous' one with HxD64.exe : Binaries are the same.
Set-up : Debloated Win11 on a VHD, HQPlayer, ExerciseStabilizer => audio-GD R28 2021 => Focal Utopia HeadPhone (DM-Audio XLR Cable)

What is 88B I haven't seen anything labelled B?

Hi billgr,
The same situation as with ES78 in the past. The date changes on the download link. Currently it's 20230927, which is a more recent date than the first release of ES88. That's the only way to know it's a new(?) release. The file is still labelled ExtremeStabilizer88.exe and as Khordo pointed out the binaries are the same for the two ES88s.
Cheers,
Bernie

Thanks for the clarification @Bernie.
I also think ES88 is the best yet. Very good all round, very deep and full-toned bass in particular.

The speed resolution of es88C and B is improved, but the distant sound field like es88A is lost. Maybe the treble ratio is increased, the bass ratio is reduced, or it is some other more responsible situation. Now I try to add Es77N to see if the reduction of bass results in the narrowing of the sound field.

es88A, ec88b, es88C - have the same hash sum. So they are identical.
What are the arguments against?

Are comparative tests conducted correctly? For example, does every new test come after a system reboot?
I remind you - all three versions are identical.

They just look the same, but the final listening feeling can not be the same, because the packet timing of the file upload timing outside the chain timing is different, and the effect of the things downloaded to our computer will definitely produce a change in the listening feeling.
I decided to add the es77N to the far field, and the es88C sounds more high-pitched and less low-pitched
