I tried several times to do a bat file with TI privilege through "RunX", but stucked on setting cmd to autorun with forced TI mode.
Hope you can write a small step by step instruction.
I use the AO launch file: "custom_shell.cmd" with the following line:
RunXcmd.exe /exec="c:\Users\ROON\Documents\MinorityClean\BAT\start8.bat" /account=ti
And the "start8.bat" is :
(The start8.bat file is in the same directory as lm.exe and mc.exe).
@echo off start /min mc.exe start /min mc.exe start /min mc.exe start /min mc.exe start /min lm.exe start /min lm.exe start /min lm.exe start /min lm.exe exit

HungryBear's TrustedClean v1.0
What is HungryBear's TrustedClean?
TrustedClean allows you to run unlimited number of MC/LE instances with TrustedInstaller or NTAuthority privileges. Automatically, at system startup. No user input needed, whatsoever. Not even when updating MC/LE versions.
What's new?
- Works on extremely modified and headless OSes - does not rely on user logon for startup
- Supports TrustedInstaller privileges
- Installation is as simple as it can be. Just place MC/LE files in TrustedClean folder. That's it. MC updated? Just replace the files. Done. Filenames doesn't matter.
- You can run unlimited number of instances with no extra work. Want to run 77 instances? Just place 77 copies in the folder and TrustedClean will take care of the rest. Automatically, on each startup.
- You can easily switch between NTAuthority and TrustedInstaller privileges
- You can force MC/LE to run with High CPU priority
- AudiophileOptimizer and other similar tools are breaking TrustedInstaller. TrustedClean will automatically check and repair TrustedInstaller service and its components.
- No additional processes or services. Just MC/LE.
- Process Lasso Optimizer feature will automatically exclude MC/LE, your media player and ASIO drivers from ProBalance, IdleSaver, SmartTrim and Foreground Boost (optional)

HungaryBear I'm certain many Forum participants will find TrustedClean a valuable tool for use with MC and LE. Many thanks for developing TrustedClean.
If you use TrustedClean but only select one of the NT Authority options, will TrustedClean still check and repair the TrustedInstaller service and its components? Or will TrustedClean do that only if you select one of the three TrustedInstaller options?
Cheers,
Bernie

Disabling TrustedInstaller doesn't make sense. It doesn't run unless explicitly called.
Disabling it doesn't improve sound quality, but might cause a lot of headache.

Great installer.
Works perfect with Win 11
But will not autostart with Server 2019 / AO.
Will run manually.
Any ideas?

It would be useful for everyone using WS2019 and AO to know whether there is a way to have TrustedClean autostart.

1MC and 1LE are enough for me.
The multiples are to show you can load lots of instances if you want.
It all depends on your neurosis ;-)
Thanks HB.

Is there any way TrustedClean can be run as a service? At the moment, it only runs on user login.
Both my PCs are headless and don't log in at all under normal use.

I just wanted to say that a single exe can launch several instances. 2 exe and 4 instances of each, on my pc (see post above).

My pc is headless too, with the possibility to launch remote services like TightVNC (or stop them >> "min mode" with less than 30 processes)
RunX launches the "seclogon" service which allows the opening of secondary sessions (hence the " /account=ti")

I was trying to avoid installing services like a plague, because it would ruin the simplicity of my new launcher.
But I think I will add it as an optional feature in the next version.
You can copy NSSM.exe to the TrustedClean install folder and manually create service from one of the TIClean batch files, until I will update the launcher.

The download was removed, I'm reworking TrustedClean to run as service for improved compatibility with heavily modified OSes (AudiophileShell) and headless PCs.
The download will be available soon, probably later today.
Please don't spam my mailbox with download requests haha
