Lately my BubbleUPnP has caused my a lot of troubles (Not responsive, stopping after 2 tracks etc.) Only work around for me was restarting my Samsung tablet and things was better for a short period.

However when restarting my tablet this evening it announced that it had downloaded a ver. 3.2.3 BubbleUPnP.

So far it works like a charm. What a wonderful evening/world.

Lets see what it brings! From the changelog: fixed Playlist track advance broken on some renderers slow to respond (regression)

For a while I've been using an app called Automate which can be programmed to keep the screen on while using Bubble. When I don't run it surely track advance stops at some point.

Hmm. I find that if I load a multidisc set into BubbleUPnP then track advance is likely to fail. If I play multidisc sets one disc at a time then I get now problems. How does one use Automate moriez?

How does one use Automate moriez?

Wasn't as easy as it looked. Eventually I found a default 'flow' in their database which I downloaded and was instructed to store on the phone. Then from Automate you can import it.

The flow is called Keep screen and CPU awake For convenience I am attaching the file but advising to look it up because, who can trust these guys on the net right ;)

Update didn't do anything for playback advancing here. Still need Automate. Fidata on the other hand has a built-in option to prevent sleep which seems to be working a treat.

Since I've reinstalled clean Windows Server DC core from the original Microsoft iso file (April 2019) on both PCs and have updated them from sconfig, Bubble UPnP 3.2.3 is working flawlessly.

During the time I was using the fidata, BubbleUPnP got some updates, but I hadn't tried it again. From a few days to now, I've only used BubbleUPnP and found the sound quality superior to that of the fidata Music App, unlike the first impressions I had. I'm using the v. 3.2.3, and it's working very well. I still don't think the fidata is worse than it, just that it plays different, and my ears have preferred and adored BubbleUPnP.

Since when I started to use BubbleUPnP constantly, I only had one crashing problem, which forced me to restart the computer and BubbleUPnP itself. I still think it lacks fluency, speed of navigation, which isn't the case with the fidata, but the combination of BubbleUPnP and JPLAY FEMTO is absolutely fantastic.
