Hello Guys,

I'm pleased to announce the availability of the new flagship USB cable from JCAT - The Signature USB Cable. The cable offers the highest level of sound quality and listening pleasure. It is the same level of performance as the Signature LAN Cable. The cable is handcrafted using the mix of purest silver & gold alloy with silver copper conductors.

It's been in my system for the last 6 months and I can say with confidence that it is the best sounding USB Cable I've tried. I sent the cable to Paul McGowan, the CEO of PS Audio, who's been a fan of JCAT USB Cables for years and this post on his blog is the result:

https://www.psaudio....ts/heaven-sent/

The cable is available at JCAT webshop  here:  https://jcat.eu/prod...ture-usb-cable/

Regards,
Marcin

Marcin, first of all, congratulations for the launch of this new cable. I'm very curious to know more JCAT products, but everything indicates that first of all I'll buy two network cards. Talking about the cable in particular, recently I created a topic so that we can talk about digital computer cables, among them, SATA, USB and LAN. My idea is to have a space so that we can build understanding about these cables, especially regarding their level of quality and their sound, their way of playing, what I called "approach". I'd like to hear from you, if possible, if there is any kind of specific sonority that you want to print on your cables, if there is any sound path you walk through, and also if you have other parameters, brands and models, so that we can to adopt as a reference. I'm sorry if I ask too much, but I think this kind of parameter is very important for future references, because it helps us a lot to be more secure in the future steps that we intend to take with our systems. Thank you and congratulations again.

My reference are top of the range Siltech Double Crown & Triple Crown cables when it comes to the sound quality and overall character of the cable. In short: it is about the absolute best resolution & refinement. Resolution understood as sharpness or excessive analyticity without balance and musicality is a flaw IMHO. My aim is to get as close as possible to the natural sound with a touch of 'magic' ;)

That's why my ultimate goal is to upgrade to as many JCAT gear as my budget allows. Every incremental step, however small it seems, towards that goal has proved your achievement.

recording some A/B now between the new Sig USB with the grounding cable vs the JCAT Reference USB obviously cant use the grounding cable with the Ref USB. Its still plugged into the Net Femto card though. Dont want to take it out all together that's for sure.

Will be interesting to listen back after :)

Videos coming soon :)

I just regret not being rich enough to let myself be tempted by a test of these Signature cables (USB and LAN). :(

Our flagship Signature USB Cable vs. the older brother: the Reference USB Cable. Can you hear the difference?

Customer review of our Signature USB Cable
'I am using the JCAT Signature USB cable. This cable is so much better than anything else I have tried before (Curious cable, AudioQuest Diamond, Transparent Audio Premium USB, etc.) that I have no desire to even try anything else at this point. '

Any explanation why your flagship usb cable has cheap looking heat shrink tubed connectors vs great looking aluminum connectors on other usb cable models? I have your basic usb cable and I am very happy with it so far, so I do believe in sound quality of Signature model. I am just curious what technical reason is behind not using those metal connectors on Signature cable too.

There are few reasons. First, the aluminum connectors sure looks good, but much more important is the quality of the conductor & shielding and in the Signature cable these are extremely high and costly.  If I wanted to have aluminum connectors on the Signature cable, which is made in a different country, the price would have to be even higher.

If you hear the difference in comparison to the  standard JCAT USB Cable, you will understand.

Best regards,

Marcin

Hi Marcin,

I understand now, fair response.

In fact, I am very tempted to try one in the near future, because usb is preferred connection in my system now and this is not going to change soon. Your standard usb cable is great for money and I do believe Signature is even better...

Radoslav.

Hi Marcin, I have tried  connect PS Audio PWDAC II latest firmware  with Jcat Signature cable after reading https://www.psaudio....ts/heaven-sent/, excellent sound better than Chord DAVE!,

but only with 44,1kHz!

Other hi res files are with pops like scratching vinyl. Audioquest Diamond plays OK.

Any advice?

Thanks, Franta
