The same setup, with all other things equal but Audirvana+ instead of HQPLayer, does play well, so you could say that the problem is with HQPlayer.
However, is it that simple?
The setup with Windows has become quite complex, with media player, AO, FP, JPLAY Femto on control PC talking to JPLAY Femto on audio PC, and DAC.
It could be an incompatibility between two components.
