Hi like the title says, does anyone have experience with W Server12 R2 using AO latest version and trying it with Fid Pro or without it?

Which one do you prefer?

If you follow the order of installation - first F pro and then AO, than it is the best combination, no doubt about it.

And one reason for that order of installation being the best combination is that (as I've posted in the past and Keetakawee has recently acknowledged) F Pro can reactivate some services shut down by AO if it is installed after installing AO.

Bernie, I will install Fid before AO but I am planning in deactivating all network related services, I know that for Fid to work it need in device manager the driver to be active but, can I deactivate in AO all network services and mini ports or should I do it by hand?

I don't get your point. What Fidelizer's got to do with network services. Just run in that order. You could do whatever suits you in AO - disable network services and mini ports.

If you deactivate Ethernet and Lan in device manager Fid Pro 8.1 doesn't work as I experienced and Keetawanee also told me.... so I am afraid that once I do the Ao optimizer Fid Pro will not work as I experienced before, now it works because I execute it before AO, got it?

Hi screenmusic,

I routinely install F Pro first, then AO and deactivate all network-related services in AO (I do not deactivate the miniport drivers). F Pro has always continued to work afterwards (as verified in Task Manager). If F Pro doesn't work in your system when you follow that procedure, something other than AO must be involved.

Cheers,

Bernie

thx for this link ((https://drive.google...iew?usp=sharing) Bernie, you provided. It is godsend :))

If you try fidelizer pro or AO one without the other  temporarily, which one would you advise to use as a first on server 2016 +GUI?
