Hi,
at the moment I am using the WiFi Adapter of my single Audio PC for streamer. I am wondering wether a 7m LAN cable to my router would be the better option soundwise. What about Powerline Adapters like the TL-PA8010P?

I'd avoid power line adapters like plagues, been there done that. You don't want your precious audio data go thru the power line that's full of &@#%. 7 meters or 22 feet is a relatively long distance, so I'd put an FMC on each end, and an audio grade short Ethernet cable from FMC #2 to the PC.

Alternatively,

SinglePC: Windows 2016 Core + AO + JPLAY + BubbleUPnP proxy server
MediaPC: Windows 2016 GUI + MinimServer + music library
