Hello all,

I have an annoying issue that I cannot fix.

Have a dual PC setup but last month when I was on a SinglePC setup, it was the same.

DAC: Audio-gd Master-7 / Amanero Combo384 USB interface

OS: Windows Server 2012R2 (AO or not makes no difference)

The problem: at the end of the playlist, I have an "echo" / remnant portion of the last song playing for about 1 second.

JPLAY 6.2 (official and non-official):

 - Kernel Streaming

 - Xtream

 - XtreamSize: 5000

 - PC Buffer: 1 second

 - DAC Link: 10 Hz

 - Hibernate mode: on (but off makes no difference)

 - JPLAY says: Status: Memory OK, Audio OK, Clock 0.5ms

After a few hours on testing the possible working combinations on KS (most other produces no sound at all), I still cannot get rid of this remnant sound.

Any ideas? Suggestions?

Could be interaction between Xtream & DAC driver - Try smaller XtreamSize or switch Engine to Classic or ULTRAStream.

Thank you Josef.

Xtream with any XtreamSize has this echo sound for "longer" music tracks (didn't determine the size, but say longer than 1 min 30 seconds). With shorter tracks, I does not look like I have this issue.

UltraStream just does not work with my DAC. It does not produce any sound (or less than 2 seconds and then stops).

Classic works fine though. So I will have to pick between Classic and Xtream and if Xtream sounds better in my case, I'll have to live with this "echo sound" at this end of the playlist...
