BubbleDS Next neither selects the MinimServer as Library nor the JPLAYStreamer as Room.

Kazoo works in same setup flawlessly.

What am missing for setting up the BubbleDS?

Make sure you're connected to same network. Restarting app / reconnecting to network should help

What else should I do?

I had set static ip for all, beginning with same 3 numbers.

Ping statistics for another PC to Control PC
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 9ms, Maximum = 99ms, Average = 54ms

Ping statistics for ControlPC to Android phone
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 1ms, Maximum = 61ms, Average = 30ms

Hi Hamsi,

I  think I have the same problem in the past and fix it by activating DHCP on Control PC only.

Regards

Hi RHE,

Thank you for your reply.

There are two ethernet ports on controlpc. It doesn't work after activating DHCP on dedicated "JPlay" network card either.

 Bubblesoft answers:

  1. - try rebooting your WiFi router. Make sure its firmware is up to date
  2. - in router settings, look for a setting called 'IGMP snooping' and disable it if you find it
  3. - try rebooting your computer and Android devices

Stil not working, for any computer running Windows 7, 10, server 2102, server 2106 and with none of (more than 10s) tablets and smartphones tried beside my equipment and also visiting friends.

4. check that traffic on UDP port 1900 is not blocked on your PC. It is used for device discovery.
5. Security suite (Norton or other) disable or uninstall it.

I had the same issue but solved by below:

"Windows Firewall exceptions"

https://technet.micr...2(v=ws.11).aspx

  1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.

  2. Click System and Security, and then click Windows Firewall.

  3. Click Allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall.

  4. If the check box associated with the program or port listed is selected, the Windows Firewall exception for that program or port is enabled.
